Napowrimo day 2 oh dear oh dear

So the folks over at napowrimo have decided that today they want us to write a poem using the song that was number one on their birthday, being born in the 80s and loving a lot of music from that decade I had high hopes, however I was given wait for it…. the chicken song by spitting image which is clearly a parody of agadoo’s black lace. However I have managed to make a sculpted poem from the lyrics (without adding any extra words I was strict on this one) a sculpted poem is by my account where you delete words in order from a piece of text to make it into a poem, I moved words onto different lines but aside from deleting did not move anything around so here goes:

It’s the time of year
no matter where you hide
you just can’t escape this

dance and then bury all your clothes
paint your left teeth
form a Skin yourself
learn to speak
climb inside the disco

it’s vibrating
The sound is truly dance again
in the air you’ll hear this
though you hate this song
La la la la la
