Napowrimo Day six

So today’s prompt is an animal poem and happen to have written a poem about the most terrifying animal of all…

after midnight,

it is now the twentieth year of your death

I grab some flesh I shouldn’t have, I strip muscle

from haunches seek out bones below

I have learned my body makes men hungry

I knew I would mark the occasion

comfort myself with the refrain

to err is human, to err is human.
