Stirred: Wilderness

Stirred: Wilderness at the 3MT
Monday 26th October
7.30pm
£1/2 Donation

Welcome to the penultimate Stirred of this year. This month’s theme is Wilderness we want you to run into the woods run onto wild and windy moors (cue Kate Bush dancing) take us into the wilderness of your mind, love lost, the Australian outback, the desert, the ice floes, into outer space, a post apocalyptic nightmare.

We run Stirred on a basis of one very specific theme and then a totally open one to allow you to use your imagination to interpret the theme any which way you choose, anything goes.

It being October we are very keen to encourage people to use the wilderness as a gothic backdrop whether that is Macbeth’s or the Pendle witches or general spooky goings on we encourage you to allow a little darkness and macabre into your work this month.

As usual we highly encourage dressing for this month’s Stirred Witches, Warlocks, Wizards, ghouls of all kinds are welcome.

We will have our regular monthly workshop before the event to get your pens moving along to this theme details will be posted shortly.

We are very excited to be featuring Jo Warburton and Louise Fazackerly open mic slots can be booked by emailing us at stirredwomen@gmail.com

We include below a few poems on the theme of wilderness:
