Call for Submissions: Audre Lorde

Stirred Press is seeking submissions of poetry and artwork on the theme of AUDRE LORDE for the third zine in our 2016 series.

We would particularly welcome submissions from BAME and/or queer writers for this issue.

You may use Audre Lorde’s life, poems, or the themes in her work in any way you want as a starting point for your submission.

The zine is produced using a black and white photocopier so please keep that in mind when submitting artwork. Please also keep in mind the length restrictions of the zine format – shorter poems work best.

Deadline for submissions is Friday 25th March.

Profits from our 2016 zine series will go towards paying the travel costs of our guest artists.

Please email your submissions to stirredwomen@gmail.com – we look forward to reading them!
