Rosie Garland and Stirred Poetry @ Didsbury Arts Festival

An Evening of Curiosities…

Opening with the wonderful Rosie Garland, treasure of Manchester, ‘jewel box of a novel’ (S.Waters). There will be readings and question and answer time with Rosie.

Joining Rosie will be the finest feminist writers Manchester has to offer – Stirred Poetry will be represented by Anna Percy and Rebecca Audra Smith performing a mixed prose and poetry set.

Special Guest:
Nixy West has graduated from Manchester University with an MA in Creative Writing. Nixy is Project Coordinator with Bad Language Mcr, General Editor at Litfest, and General Editor with The Cadaverine and is always on the look out for new creative projects to be involved with. She spends her time reading, writing, walking and drinking too much coffee.
